Unlike previous year, the nominees were highlighted late this year; but, again the good thing is that people could at least easily get access to these movies and they were not made to wait for a long.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is one movie which has been gaining hype at present. First, because it has been included under Best Picture, Best Original Screen Play and second because it has been able to obtain nominations for Best Actress as well as Best Supporting Actor. Seven nomination worth this movie shows the means of campaigning in commercial way. There certainly has been number of campaigns for different social issues in Nepal as well; but this movie reflects how strong campaigns can ensure effectiveness in the end. The character of mother, who loses her daughter, and her struggle to pressurize the concerned bodies should be a lesson to Nepalese world as well. The movie leaves any audience with confusion about who is to be blamed in the end, and it ends with open narration.

The Guardian has explained this movie about vengeance, violence, and the acceptance of death which combines subtlety and unsubtlety, and moreover wrongfooting anyone as to what and whom it is centrally about in the end. If anyone is up with simple going story, they should certainly watch this movie. Even if they don't like simple going story, they should watch - after all IMDb has rated it 8.3 giving enough reasons why Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri should not be avoided.

What makes this season of Oscar a bit interesting is the movie - Get Out. With four nomination of Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, it also has earned Best Actor. The movie is a huge twister, and the meaning of 'Get Out' becomes clearer only after the end of the movie. There is a huge twist, that any audience will not realize till first hour. The movie has showed the discrimination of black among the white mass as well, and their level of inferiority thereby.

The reluctance and lower level of confidence is not everything; but the concept of slavery at this era has been represented. This thriller movie will energize and stop any audience from diverting their attention. Daniel Kaluuya, who has played the role of Chris Washington has wonderfully acted in the movie. And, the suspense and thriller movie comes to an end with one definate conclusion. 7.7 IMDb rated Get Out is more than some simple thriller as it beautifully presents some meaningful look at racisim in this era.

Image result for the post tom hanksThe Post is obviously a charming movie as it has the loved actor Tom Hanks. Every year, there has been a trend to show some historical unnoticed truth in Oscar, be that through The Imitation Game or Hidden Figure the previous year. Although it has got nominated for Best Picture and Best Actress in Oscars, the movie actually shows what medias should be, and the level of accountability that they need to bear up with. American Political thriller movie, which shows the true picture of The Washington Post, and their role. Because, only if New York Times would have taken the lead, neither would The Washington Post come up, nor would the justice be prevailed. The role of media towards the society has been presented here, where it has indicated how medias should be bold, strong, honest, loyal, sincere and risk bearing for the sake of justice.
Why would National Board of Review regard The Post as best film of 2017 else? Although IMDb rating has been 7.4; the movie certainly is inspiring one for anyone linked with the media. As it deals about Press Freedom to unity.

One common thing about all three movies are that they can be sensed with Nepalese perspectives. We can adopt the campaigns adopted thereby, for effective positioning and pressurizing for sure. Again, we can relate things perfectly with how the discrimination has been prevailing in Nepalese society through Get Out. And, Post obviously has huge lesion for Nepalese Media world.
