Crossing the sea

Sep 1, 2013
You thought I was lost,
maybe criticized my promise as well.
I was dying to maintain the trust,
No, how could you see me pale?

I tried to cross the sea,
to hold your hand.
But, the waves sent me,
back, and kept me with the sand.

I was all up for your smile,
trying to work all night and day.
Never I closed our chapter's file,
No, don't trust them, they will burn the hay!

I tried to cross the sea,
to hold your hand.
But, the waves sent me,
back, and kept me with the sand.

I never realized the distance among us,
nor could figure out how far.
Never did I kept you at the side of toss,
maybe I tried keeping you safe inside the jar.

I tried to cross the sea,
to hold your hand.
But, the waves sent me,
back, and kept me with the sand.

By the time I felt,
I was seriously too late..
I know you are not an ice to melt.
Oh yes! I have to remember your closed gate.

But trust me..
I tried to cross the sea,
to hold your hand.
But, the waves sent me,
back, and kept me with the sand.
