Ending the Tour

Apr 28, 2016

'Delhi ko yese bol rahe he, malum nahi agar Mumbai mey hotey to kya karte'  One bad thing about Delhi was expensive hotels. The hotel prices were that expensive that Kapil had to say
Aaj pata chala, Delhi waloka dil nahi hotey hai!

Delhi was not new place for us. This was the second time, we were in Delhi except for Rusen, who was there first time.  Once we got our room after long procedure, we went out for good dinner, as we were starving throughout the day.

Food
We had tandoori at that large quantity, as if we took entire chicken. They were juicy, and had good taste too. Other thing good was lalmohan and rasvari. I finally got these sweets of Nepalese taste. Samosa and Kachaudi's taste reminded me of my school days. They were exactly the same. Had my stomach not been full, I would try for the other too.

Easy Travel
Though the entire city is big, but travelling is not a huge barrier in Delhi, as there are metros. Crowds of Metros can be troublesome, but travelling certainly ain't that hectic in Delhi.

India Gate
This site was shown to us from bus itself on our previous, but we wanted to go and touch it this time. Once we got out of metro, we then realized, Metro was much more cooler than the outside temperature. We tried walking till the spot, but after making  it till 75%, we rather decided to stay in the garden instead of walking till there.
We decided to watch from here itself.

Shiva KC's room
Laxminagar was very famous in Nepal. Shiva KC was Shiva's and Susant's classmate when they were in their high school. Shiva called him, and we went there. He brought things too cook, and we cooked on our own meat and rice, and had like anything. It was too hot, but, we had to eat.

AksharDham's shut down
I was already been fan of this place, though I never knew who this God Nilgiri was, but this temple was amazing. We wanted to revisit here, but our bad luck. Once we were there, the entry door was closed, because we were late by 20 minutes.

Returning back to Chennai
That was two nights travel, and early morning we were at Chennai. This was our 14th Day!
South Indian fizzy tea!
Marina Beach of Chennai
This was the only place where we went. It was dirty, we kept our legs there anyway. They say it's longest beach in India. Okay, we saw it!
Rusen observing the sea!

Statue near the beach
Madras University

Amazing Train
That was not metro, nor was that normal train. But, it was cheap making Chennai small. Stupid thing was, we were in 1st class compartment, with tickets of 3rd class. We therefore were confused, how could this old train have such luxurious seat, and then nearby person told us that we were in wrong compartment, so before someone checks, we should change, else we would be fined a lot. We did that immediately after next stop.
Bus there at Chennai

This was the train!

Station like bhoot bangla

We were relaxing at 1st class with 3rd class ticket!
We got back to railway station, and caught train to Bangalore. We dropped at Vellore, while Shiva went to Bangalore. We took momos at Vellore and returned back to hostel ending our entire #TourDeNorthIndia2015
